It's absolutely fascinating to see animals' reactions to things and incidents. You wouldn't really expect them to be quick on their feet and immediately come to the rescue, but this herd of elephants prove us completely wrong. This little calf gets pulled under the current while attempting to cross the Ewaso Nyiro in Kenya. It's unbelievable how the animals don't just sit back and let bygones be bygones, they react immediately. Watch and see for yourself.

At First You Think You're Biting Into A Cucumber, But Wait. What Is This?

Japanese artist Hikaru Cho was not kidding when she titled this series It's Not What It Seems. She artfully plays with perception to transform fruits and vegetables into something they're not.

Using acrylic paint, Cho skillfully disguises the outer layer of a banana into a cucumber, an egg into an eggplant, and a tomato into an orange. Next, she takes a photograph of the disguised food, then she peels, chops, or cracks open the food to reveal what is truly underneath.

By exposing the inner layers of the fruit or vegetable, Cho challenges her audience to slow down and consider what lies beneath a first impression.

Warren Buffett is perhaps the greatest investor of all time, and he has a simple solution that could help an individual turn $40 into $10 million.

A few years ago, Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-A) (NYSE: BRK-B) CEO and Chairman Warren Buffett spoke about one of his favorite companies, Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO), and how after dividends, stock splits, and patient reinvestment, someone who bought just $40 worth of the company's stock when it went public in 1919 would now have more than $5 million.

Yet in April 2012, when the board of directors proposed a stock split of the beloved soft-drink manufacturer, that figure was updated and the company noted that original $40 would now be worth $9.8 million. A little back-of-the-envelope math of the total return of Coke since May 2012 would mean that $9.8 million is now worth about $10.8 million.
